Caudalie Loyalty Programme/Free Gifts

I thought I would let you know about the Caudalie myCaudalie Loyalty Programme and show you what free gifts I received late last week when I repurchased two of the  Caudalie Divine Candles online- please see my earlier review / post here.

Firstly = The myCaudalie Loyalty Programme

When you sign up to the myCaudalie programme  your loyalty is rewarded;  By Purchasing Online – You can earn myCAUDALIE points by buying on the website, each time you purchase you receive points; or By Purchasing Products in store – when you purchase a skincare product in store and register the code found inside the box on line you will also earn points. You can choose / receive a free gift as soon as you have 120 points!   Please visit www.mycaudalie.com to sign up or find out more details.

I had enough points built up through the myCaudalie programme  to choose a Caudalie Divine Scrub (200 points) – 150g full size, worth £21.50 with this order (selection of products to choose from depending on how many points you have to spend) – This is a beautiful scrub gently scented with the Caudalie signature Divine fragrance, the body scrub with brown sugar is beautiful and leaves my skin silky soft with a gorgeous gentle  fragrance  – I just love the ‘Divine’ range so this is the perfect addition to my collection.

In addition I  also received the following free gifts with my beautifully packaged order:

I received a beautiful Caudalie cloth tote bag which was a gift with purchase for purchasing over £40  – This is a gorgeous high quality large tote cloth bag with strong rope handles suitable for travelling, shopping or day out.

This offer is currently finished – however when you currently spend £45 or over and enter code GRAPE16 at checkout you will receive the free gift below which is  valid until 30th September 2016 or while stocks last.

caudalie

Remember to always check best offers available prior to purchasing.

I also received five samples (3 products) within a beautiful organza drawstring bag for placing an order – choice of sample pack with each order at checkout – perfect way to try other Caudalie products and great size for travelling as well.

I definitely would recommend taking a look at www.mycaudalie.com  site not just because of the beautiful products, free samples and regular free gifts with purchase(s) but also because of the myCaudalie Loyalty Programme as it is a great way to build up points to redeem / receive additional full size free gifts especially if you are already a Caudalie fan or just want to try some of their products.  You will also get free shipping when you spend £30 or over.

Look forward to any comments you may have – would also love to hear if you are already a member of the myCaudalie Loyalty Programme, and if so,  what you think of it and what gifts do you intend / have claimed already?

If not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Thank you – take care.

Feelunique Pick’N’Mix Service/Samples

Another great way to obtain ‘free’ samples / try products at the moment is through the Feelunique’s Pick ‘N’ Mix Service.

You can pick five ‘free’ samples from a selection of samples  available while stocks last – you are charged £3.95 for shipping and handling fees although you can redeem this against any future order  (excluding Pick ‘n’ Mix) via a £3.95 gift voucher you receive in your follow-up email.  Therefore although you initially have to pay for shipping & handling as this can be redeemed against future orders and as long as you do place a future order you really are getting your sample selection for ‘free’.

However you can only access one Pick ‘N’ Mix selection per month and the £3.95 code you receive cannot be redeemed against the shipping and handling costs for future Pick ‘N’ Mix selection(s).

I chose the following five samples as already have tried and love four of them (perfect size for travelling) and looking forward to trying the other one:

  • Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart – 5mlhave received this sample already – to see my review and how to get a sample of this please see my earlier post here;
  • Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster – 5mlnever tried this product before – really looking forward to trying it as good size sample;
  • Sachajuan Colour Save Shampoo and Conditioner both 10ml – love this product too leaves my hair soft and silky and refreshed – although these are sachet samples, they still are useful for travelling or taking to the pool;
  • Bioderma Sensibio H20 Make Up Removing Micelle Solution – 10mllove this product and although in a sachet type container I have decanted it into a sample bottle I had for ease of use – perfect size for travelling.

I am definitely going to be using the Pick ‘N’ Mix service again and highly recommend trying it for yourself as a great way to try products for ‘free’ prior to purchasing especially if you make a future purchase through Feelunique to enable you to redeem your £3.95 gift voucher(the charge for shipping & handling fees) (if new to Feelunique you can use my code here to get 15% off your first order).

Look forward to any comments you may have – would love to hear if you have used the Pick ‘N’ Mix service already, and if so,  what you thought of it?

If not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Thank you – take care.

SpaceNK Gift with Purchase & Ultrasun

I wanted to let you know that SPACENK UK have currently a number of great free gifts with specific purchases  available while stocks last – see link here for further details.   One of these offers is a free gift of a EVE LOM Travel Care Collection when you purchase selected suncare.

img_1150

This travel-friendly set comprises the cult favourite Cleanser – 30ml, quarter Muslin Cloth, Rescue Mask – 15ml and TLC Cream  -three 5ml sachets –(will also do a review on these products soon.  Therefore as I needed more Ultrasun SPF 50 Extreme Sun Protection – £20 for 100ml,  I ordered it  and entered the code ELSUNCARE at checkout and received the free EVE LOM set, was also able to choose three free samples at checkout and  got free shipping too.

The Ultrasun range was developed in Switzerland and is described as delivering very high levels of protection against both UVA and UVB rays with just one application a day.  All of the Ultrasun products are water-resistant and will carry on protecting you even after repeated swimming, watersports and towel drying with absolutely no need to re-apply during the day – Once a Day.  I totally agree with their claims as my skin is very sensitive in the sun and I therefore  need to use very high factor sun protection as well as making sure I do not stay out in the sun at peak times or for prolonged periods.

I put on the gel / more a cream lotion at least half an hour before I am going out and I find that it does last all day but sometimes if I am in the water a lot / sun stronger than normal I do reapply on specific areas of skin for my own assurance – may not need to but just prefer to do this.    The Ultrasun product I purchased has a pump applicator, no strong fragrance and does not take long to sink into the skin, although states as non sticky I find the higher factors are slightly sticky until they sink in but that does not take long.  I would highly recommend the Ultrasun range for everyone especially those with sensitive skin  – Please see my earlier review on the Ultrasun Lipbalm here which I absolutely love too and cannot be without all year round.

I would definitely recommend looking at the SPACENK UK free gift offers especially this offer and the Ultrasun sun protection range  – and also if you are a new SPACENK UK customer when you use my referral link HERE you will get £10 off your first online order when you spend £40 or over, choice of three free samples and free shipping.

I hope you found this useful – I also intend to do further short posts on other offers I have been lucky enough to get and are still available.

Thank you for looking  and look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend and take care.

Elizabeth Arden-Free City Smart Sample

Another free sample offer currently available with consultation and while stocks last is the Elizabeth Arden City Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Hydrating Shield – 5ml – deluxe sample size.

You just need to ask at any Elizabeth Arden counter  and then you will receive your free 5ml / 7-day sample Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart sample with a skin consultation while stocks last.

Described as a moisturising lotion that hydrates and shields skin from UV rays with SPF 50 sunscreen hydrating with an anti-ageing formula that utilises triple action protection to safeguard skin from pollution, UV rays and visible signs of ageing.

img_1149

I have already tried my sample for two days and loving it already.   It has a light cream consistency, similar to colour of a tinted moisturiser.   I applied over my serum and moisturiser and it sank into my skin really quickly and although does not say it can act as a primer I found it was / is a good base for my makeup, also great for those makeup free days.  It really helps the look of your skin as well as protecting it.   Although pricey at £55 for 40 ml this product could be on my next shopping list if I continue to get good results over the next week but as always will be looking out for best offers available  and remember to do the same – love the look of this  offer already which is currently available at Elizabeth Arden online- when you purchase £60 or over  you will receive a free gift worth £115 which comes in a beautiful bag too – photo below of gift – see link here.

I hope you found this useful – remember the above free 5 ml sample offer will be available while stocks last, so the quicker you can get into a Elizabeth Arden counter the more chance the sample will still be available – I also intend to do further short posts on other offers I have been lucky enough to get and are still available.

Thank you for looking  and look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer

image

I have been searching for a ‘favourite’ under eye concealer for a while that will help conceal dark circles without emphasising any fine lines  / and also give your eyes that extra brightness / slight illumination especially when you have not had enough sleep.   So when I was browsing through the Bourjois beauty products on Boots online and seen the  Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer,  £7.99, noticed there was a Bourjois free gift (worth £22) with purchases of £15 or over – I decided to purchase two concealers, as I had enough advantage points, which meant I also got the free gift below: a full size – bronzing powder, nail polish and lip crayon and in addition as I ordered online I received two free Lacoste Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle 1.5ml fragrance samples to try.

image

The Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer is available in three shades; 01 – Light / Ivory (noted as light but Ivory is colour on bottle), 02- Medium and 03 Bourjois Deep    .  It comes in a glass bottle with a sponge wand applicator and silver tone screw top closure.    It states that is corrects, illuminates and has 24hr Hydrationthe light enhancing concealer conceals dark circles and imperfections whilst smoothing and hydrating for 24 hours.

This concealer has the perfect creamy consistency and so easy to apply – I applied under the  eye area with three short strokes with the applicator and blended in lightly with my fingertips.   I am extremely impressed with this concealer as find it just glided / glides onto the skin so easily, blends in perfectly and does not settle into / emphasis any fine lines, instead smooths the under eye area.  It helps disguise dark circles, coverage is buildable.  Perfect as not obvious you are wearing concealer, illuminates the under eye area, is very long lasting and no caked residue at all.    I have nothing negative to say at all about this product  – just love it.

image

I will  be repurchasing and would definitely recommend you trying this product, if you have not already.   I have included two online sites below where offers, (including the one I got at Boots) are available at the moment, while stocks last (also available in stores whiles stocks last) but as always shop around online or in store for best offers before purchasing – hope this helps.

  • Boots: – free gift worth £22 with purchases of £15 or more while stocks last –  remember your advantage card points too ;
  • Superdrug: –  free contouring duo  kit when you purchase 3 Bourjois items and 3 for 2 on selected Bourjois items – also remember your health and beauty card too.

If you have tried the radiance reveal concealer before would love to know your thoughts.

Thank you for looking  and look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Best Wishes – take care  Liz x

Real Techniques ‘Core’ Brush Set

Another v good offer currently on at Boots and which I got  is the Real Techniques by Sam & Nic Core Collection Brush Set which is now half price – £10.99, reduced from £ 21.99 (the four piece starter set is also now half price – £10.99).

The CORE set contains four brushes; the contour brush, pointed foundation brush, detailer brush and buffing brush and a white panoramic case which is a dual carrier and stand.  I love the colour way of this set, black  and a bright copper , the brand name and brush type is  written / embossed  onto the handles.

The set contains a:

  • Contour Brush – brush has soft bristles although firm enough for applying highlighter or contouring;image
  • Pointed Foundation Brush – slightly different cut to other foundation brushes – however I found it  v good for applying liquid foundation so easy to achieve the buildable coverage you prefer / want with this brush, would prefer the brush a little bit bigger though;image
  • Detailer Brush – this brush is v good for applying concealer, as a lip brush, or you can also use it for applying eye shadow at the corner of the eyelid to add definition;image
  • Buffing Brush – I found that this was perfect for applying powder / mineral foundation/ Finishing powder.image
  • Panoramic Case – white case with a Velcro closure – can be used as a carry case which is a perfect for keeping brushes organised especially for travelling or as a stand which is also a great way to dry the brushes.

I love this set and the quality of these Real Techniques brushes – the bristles are soft enough not to aggravate your skin yet firm enough that they apply makeup v well- they are also so easy to clean and dry v quickly as well.   I am v happy with my purchase because as well as getting it for half price I was able to use the points I had built up on my advantage card to purchase set so that meant I got this set  for ‘free’.

I definitely would recommend taking a look at this set /current offers at Boots, especially if you have enough points on your card to get it for ‘free’.  I would also recommend considering purchasing the expert face brush from this range as I absolutely love this slightly firmer brush for applying solid powder foundation or all over bronzer or even blusher – details for it here.  However as always before you purchase always check around on line and in stores to make sure this is the best value available at the time if you intend to purchase.

I hope you found this useful and would love to know if you have already purchased this set or intend to.

Thank you for looking  and look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

The Body Shop / Vouchercodes UK Nail Varnish Freebie Offer

image

I wanted to let you know about this great free offer while it is currently available as I love freebies and hate people missing out on any, especially beauty items.  When you download the Vouchercodes UK app on your phone you can claim a free body crush nail varnish worth £5 (6.8ml) at  Body Shop stores until 21st August 2016 or while stocks last.  A choice of colours are available and once you make your choice in store just select the use voucher on the vouchercode app on your phone, show to the Sales Assistant at the counter / till and as simple as that you have a new nail varnish absolutely free.  Vouchercodes UK also have a number of other offers available so remember to check them out to see if you can make use of any of them.

I was lucky enough to get two nail varnish with this offer as had two phones with the app downloaded on both, my husband’s and mine – so many colours to choose from but I chose 650 – Mad about Blue – as you would expect a blue shade, a mix between royal and denim blue and 630 – Minty Amour – more a teal / jade green shade.  I have swatched them both and two coats gives a good opaque / strong colour, the brush may not just be as good as some high-end brands but it does apply the polish evenly, not sure how long lasting yet but initially v impressed, especially as received absolutely free, great way to try new products.

I hope you found this useful and would love to know what colour(s) you have chosen / hoping to choose – I also intend to do short posts on other offers I have been lucky enough to get and are still available.

Thank you for looking  and look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Cleanser

I recently was lucky enough  to get two free 30 ml Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleansers at the Liz Earle counter in Boots (at separate times), one through a consultation and  the other  through a voucher in a recent Daily Mail.  (If you missed out on this offer please consider following my Instagram page (beautyfashionchitchat) where I post notifications of any offers when I see or become aware of them)  Although the Daily Mail offer was  very popular, is now finished, still worth asking if they have any samples left you could try.

 image

I had previously used the cleanse and polish and was always happy with it but then moved on to cleansing oils so wanted to give the cleanse and polish another go again.  I have now had a chance to try properly again so wanted to let you know my thoughts.

The cleanser is known as award-winning, for all skin types and can be used with the pure muslin cloth gently to remove daily grime and makeup even stubborn mascara.  The cleanser has a white thicker creamy consistency and once you open it you are enveloped in all the aromas of the natural ingredients, especially the Eucalyptus essential oils.  Contains Rosemary, Chamomile and Cocoa Butter as well.  You are advised that Cleanse & polish is a 2 phase process and you first need to massage gently onto skin including the eye and neck areas and then using the muslin cloth, which should be rinsed in hand hot water, to gently polish off the cream.

image

I applied the 2 phase process as advised and found the creamy consistency is just beautiful on the skin and the natural oils give a calming element too while you are massaging the cream cleanser onto the skin.  I personally find you need to massage a bit more, though still gently, round the eye area  if you have a lot of eye makeup on, as you would expect.  The muslin cloth takes off all traces of makeup / cream after a few rinses and I personally found my skin was left clean,  refreshed, glowing with no irritations/ redness / tightness  at all.     However you need to apply the 2 phase process correctly i.e. use the hot muslin cloth to remove the cleanser to see the full benefits of this product as I know we can all be tempted sometimes to take a shortcut and just apply the cream and then just rinse off with warm water.

I will definitely be purchasing and will keep using this alternatively with my DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (will also do a separate review on this soon) and would recommend you trying this product, if you have not already.   As always I will look out for the best offers available at the time. I have included some online sites below where offers are available at the moment but as always shop around online or in store for best offers before purchasing – hope this helps.

  • Boots: –  travel sizes start from £5.50 for the 30ml cleanse and polish but seems to be without the muslin cloth but you can polish cloths separately and also currently there are a choice of a number of sets available which include the cleanse and polish –  remember if purchasing in store just ask if they have any samples that you can try and your advantage card points too;
  • Liz Earle: –  travel sizes start from £6 for the 30ml cleanse and polish and muslin cloth and there currently a choice of a number of offers available including five travel size products when you spend £50 or more  and in addition if you use my link here  until the 11.09.16 you will get £5 to spend (I receive £5 too).

Thank you for looking – any queries / comments please let me know.  If you have tried the cleanse and polish before would love to know your thoughts.

Best Wishes – take care  Liz x
