bag_product_34

You can find out full details of what is in the gift via the link here.

I definitely would recommend taking a look at the SpaceNK site and although I understand it is a large spend this time, the FREE gift is still impressive so if you had intended to treat yourself or get a number of gifts anyway,  it is a good time to get them if you can while this free gift is available as the FREE gift could be split into a number of smaller gifts / few for yourself as well.

As advised before I do like the selection of brands / products available in SpaceNK – although as always I try to purchase when gifts with purchase, special offers are on. Therefore if you have been wanting to treat yourself / someone else to a more expensive beauty advent calendar as well, you could purchase it as part of your £300 spend.  The calendar is £250 (worth £600), contains 25 items,  see photo below and link here for full details.

I also love the extras you receive when you sign up to their N.dulge scheme as well – you  receive / can collect a free gift in store on / in the month of your birthday (just need to remember to enter your details – usually will receive an email to remind / advise you when to collect your gift), special offers throughout the year and money off once you obtain enough points from purchases, which can be redeemed online or in store.  If you use my link to sign up thank you in advance.

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Thank you – take care.

Will be back soon.

Marks & Spencer 2018 Beauty Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to let you know that this year’s Marks & Spencer 2018 Beauty Advent Calendar  will be available to purchase from today 1st November, earlier if you had a sparks card which I do so I have purchased it already as such great value – needed to make a purchase anyway –  it is worth £280 but same as last year you are able to purchase for £35 while stocks last when you spend £35 on clothing, beauty or home items  – please see photo* below and link here for full details of what is included.

27ada769c4826c892ab9fb455bbd198f18a27656.jpg

It  contains 25 beauty items and I think this year again Marks and Spencer have managed to offer one of  the best 2018 beauty advent calendars – great selection of products and excellent value for money. Remember you need to add items from either clothing, beauty or the home range to your basket before the calendar will show at the reduced price of £35.  If you are interested I would recommend you purchase as soon as you can, as from past experience it sells out pretty quickly.

In addition do not forget to claim your cashback on any M&S purchases – you can sign up via my link here if you are not already signed up for cashback or if would like to see more details on ‘cashback’ please see my earlier post here.

I think this would be a perfect gift or a lovely treat for yourself, or both.

Thank you – take care.

Review: NOTE Terracotta Blusher in ‘Oriental Pink’

Hi Everyone

Hope you all have had a good week so far.

I purchased a number of Note Beauty Cosmetics products recently and have been really impressed with one of the items already, the  Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher

A little bit about Note Cosmetics

Launched in 2014, NOTE Cosmetics was developed by a team of leading European chemists to provide a luxurious, wallet friendly experience for people around the world. Their mission is to embrace the art of beauty, inspired by the passion for living, the colours of life and the notes in nature.

Description

Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher is available in 4 colour options (1-4), 10gr/0.35 RRP £13.15 and comes in a black practical click closure compact with a v good built-in mirror.

I purchased the Blusher in No 3 Oriental Pink which I thought was a natural sunkissed look – however not really a ‘pink’ maybe better in a different shade as a ‘blush’ but more on that later.

Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher  is for all skin types, states both brightens and moisturizes thanks to its unique formula  and claims to give:

  • A youthful glow;
  • A more radiant appearance;
  • Macadamia Oil helps retain moisture and balance sebum levels;
  • Is infused with botanicals; and
  • Is paraben, cruelty free and vegan.

Product / Application / Results

As above the packaging is practical and sturdy which ensures the product is well protected which means it is great for travelling with as although a number of brands have gorgeous patterned ‘intricate’ packaging they are quite fragile when travelling.

Terracotta blusher is recommended for all skin types who like to have a luminous, healthy look on cheekbones and contain Macadamia oils which are said to help balance sebum and hydration levels.

You are advised that before applying the blush, lightly tap on a tissue to avoid intensive application and apply from the temple right in the middle of the cheek.

It is a pressed powder which comes in the shape of a slight dome, is v pigmented  and although does give a slight glow to the skin, it is more a gleam, which I prefer.  No strong aroma either which is great. Looks so beautiful on the skin as a blush but the colour I purchased gives more a healthy, natural bronze glow than a pinky blush so I apply a pink blush over it when going out but going to check out the other colours in the range v soon. However because of this I think this shade is perfect for contouring under the cheek bones and also as a transition / contour shades on the eyes, can also be worn over the eyelid as will. Whichever way I wear it I love it as so easy to apply, long-lasting, no irritation to the skin – perfect multi-purpose product.  If you prefer a completely matt blush this product may not be for you.

I am so impressed with this blush, quality great, love the formulation and you get so much product for your money, so reasonable and will last for ages.  I definitely would recommend trying this product for your self as although the packaging may not be very exciting  to look at initially, it is v sturdy, practical and main thing is product is amazing, however try to test all colours first if you can to see which is best for you.    There a number of stores stocking the Note beauty range and you can purchase at a number of stores online as well including Notebeauty.co.uk – currently 15% off offer when you sign up using your email, but as always if you do decide to purchase check around for best offer before you do.

If you have already tried would love to know what you think of it, do you like it as much as me?

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog / me on instagram as well via link here – would mean a lot – intend to have more posts up prior to the end of this week, or beginning of next weekend.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Thank you and take care.

Magazine Freebies – ‘November’ 2018

Hi Everyone

Not too many free gifts this month however the Elle magazine does have a free gift again this month.

Elle = £4.99  for it and a copy of Cosmopolitan  – a Benefit Cosmetics Hoola deluxe sample is free with this month’s magazine – choice of two, either a mini Hoola Contour Stick or a Mini Hoola Powder.  I chose the powder as love this multi-purpose product, perfect for using as a bronzer, contour or eyeshadow.  However both are lovely products and perfect travelling sizes as well.

Subscription offer this month is 12 issues of Elle for £18 and a FREE This Works Sleep Plus + Trouble Shooter Spray worth £35, see below.   If this offer has finished by the time you read this, always usually an offer on so just keep checking online for more Free Gift with subscription offers.

(Once again a little reminder for any new followers, that magazines always are dated a month in advance i.e. you get the December issue in November).

Hope this helps – any comments / queries please let me know.   If not already subscribed, following my blog would love you to follow, would mean a lot.  Will definitely have more posts up v soon.

Review: Feelunique Pick ‘N’ Mix – Sept 2018

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Wanted to let you see what I chose for my latest Feelunique’s Pick ‘N’ Mix  selection. Most of the items I got are now out of stock but always keep checking as some may come back into stock again.

As advised previously you can choose five ‘free’ samples from a selection of samples available while stocks last (one selection of samples per month) – you are charged £3.95 for shipping and handling fees although you can redeem this against any future order  (excluding Pick ‘n’ Mix) via a £3.95 gift voucher you receive in your follow-up email.

This ‘service’ is so good because as well as being excellent value, great way to try different brands / products you are not ‘tied’ into a subscription i.e. you do not need to make a selection each month, only when you see items you like, want to try.

This month I was delighted to see / get the following five samples:

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (40ml x 2 – worth approx £9 each) (full size is 75ml RRP £18.50) – I chose two; the original and the pomegranate & cassis fragrance – I was pleasantly surprised and over the moon to see the size of the samples – they are deluxe sample sizes. I was delighted to see these both in the item selection as love, love this product. It is a pre shampoo treatment cream.  Best results when you use regularly and you are advised to wet hair apply in sections, work into hair with fingertips, cover with plastic cap (I use a tight towel wrap), leave for 10-20 minutes before washing off styling – for an intensive treatment you can apply to damp hair overnight and wash off in morning.   I do use both ways and both work well but my favourite way to apply is as an overnight treatment – your hair just needs to be slightly damp and then I apply to the whole of my hair – when you wash off in morning your hair is silky smooth, no nasty residue and your hairstyle seems to last even longer throughout the day, although I do still use my normal finishing oils sprays with it as well.  I love the pomegranate & cassis fragrance one now, it smells divine but not too overpowering.  Although quite expensive, I feel results are worth it, but as always check where best offer is on prior to purchasing.  Have already purchased full size as these two are in my travel bag already for my forthcoming trip.  Highly recommend trying if you can if you havent already.

Urban Decay Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lipgloss (1ml) (full size 7ml RRP £15.00)– another quite generous deluxe sample.  I received the shade ‘naked’, a light pink with a slight glimmer.    When you swatch on your hand it does seem quite tacky but then on the lips it is ok, a v slight sticky feeling, but still comfortable,  However there is a strong mint fragrance like an ‘aftereight’ and when you apply there is a slight tingling, warming sensation, it does go away but takes a while.  I will use but not sure if I would purchase because of the feeling and the strong fragrance/taste, as was ok with it at the beginning but it now feels a little bit sickening at times.  Worth checking out though to see for yourself especially if you love a gloss finish as does work well over lipsticks.  Still available in selection at time of posting.

Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide Lipsticks Sample Trio (3 little samples in a card with a brush applicator – full size is 3ml RRP £28)- I havent used yet and although only small samples there are three shades to try – the little applicator is cute too.    The full size packaging is gorgeous though as with all Givenchy lip products.

Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation (6 swatches on a card) (full size is 30ml RRP £29.50)- I chose this just to see what the foundation was like but although nice to get six shades to ‘sample’ they are that small not really enough for you to see if this foundation is for you – better  if they only give eg. 3 shades but bigger samples. However I intend to try one of the shades properly in store, not sure for me though as prefer a slightly dewy finish and think this may also make my pores more visible. Still available in selection at time of posting.

Happy with my selection this month, especially as I managed to get 2 deluxe samples of one my favourite hair care treatments, would have been happy to get even 1 of these for £3.95.  Might not be my favourite selection to date, but close, as adored my July selection (see link to it here, which will be hard to beat).  As always I will continue to use the Pick ‘N’ Mix as and when I see samples I want to try or already love. Remember the more generous sample sizes / make up samples  go quickly but as long as you regularly look through the sample choice you should always see something you want to try.

As always I highly recommend trying this ‘service’ for yourself as a great way to try products for ‘free’ prior to purchasing especially if you make a future purchase through Feelunique to enable you to redeem your £3.95 gift voucher (the charge for shipping & handling fees) (if new to Feelunique you can use my code here to get 20% off your first order with a £5 minimum spend).

Look forward to any comments you may have – would love to hear if you have used the Pick ‘N’ Mix service already, what you thought of it?

If not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too (my * instagram link is below as well if you would like to follow me there too) – would mean a lot.  Will have more posts up soon.

Thank you – take care and hope you all have a great week.
