Roccabox – August 2017 Review

Hi Everyone

Hope the weekend has been going well for you all and you have managed to get even a little time to relax – some ‘me’ time and if not, try to make sure you do before the end of the day.

I received  my August Roccabox beauty box yesterday and although have got a chance yet to try the products properly, wanted to let you see what is in it and give you my first impressions of the contents.

Roccabox is a monthly subscription beauty box which costs £10 a month (plus £3.95 p&p).   Each month you’ll receive a box of beauty treats hand-picked by one of the industry’s best-loved personalities / influencer, along with their top beauty hints and tips – for more details please see link here.  This month Roccabox have teamed up with Em Sheldon, the multi award-winning blogger behind Emtalks  – love her site, you can check it out here.

img_5099

Products come packaged  in an outer white box with rose gold lettering and an information booklet is also included (photo below).

This month’s box contained the following five items:

Miss Patisserie Sea Salt Bath Melt RRP £4.50 – What a fantastic idea.   Adore the packaging looks just like a yummy cupcake and smells divine – never tried before but as love relaxing in the bath cannot wait to try.  These would be prefect to give as gifts as come in different fragrances/colour schemes as well;

img_5124

Elemis Hydra-Boost Day Cream 15ml  – Travel Size  (Full Size 50 ml RRP £39/40) – states this super-nourishing deeply hydrating day cream is the answer to our dry skin’s prayers – I already love a number of Elemis products, have tried this cream before and although it is lovely and creamy and is great for dry skin or any dry patches, as I have combination skin I feel it is a little bit too rich for my skin therefore it is not a product I have repurchased but still happy to see included as it is a handy size and Elemis is a quality brand;

St Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask One Mask RRP Approx £8 (currently reduced to £10 for 2 on Boots.com) –  St Tropez is currently my favourite self tanning brand, although have not got round to trying the face sheet mask yet.   States ‘you can control your depth of tan (perfect for me as I am so pale) and develops into a natural, flawless tan after 8 hours’.  Will post a short review if impressed with results;

img_5126

Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipstick in Drivers Seat – Sample Size  (4ml is £19) – although enjoy using a number of Smashbox products, was unsure about this one as I find the majority of liquid lipsticks are just too drying on my lips – dislike the feeling on my lips.  However initially impressed as applies creamy, very pigmented and when dries is not as tacky / drying as the majority are and it is a lovely dark rose nude colour.  However I find you need to try liquid lipsticks for a longer period of time to see if you really are going to like / wear them (or not); but happy to see this included;

Nails Inc NailKale in Claremont Street Full Size is 14ml RRP £15 – I already have a number of Nails Inc nail polishes so happy to add another one to my collection.  However the only thing I find with ‘plain’ pastel colours is you really need to apply at least 2/3 coats to make sure it is not patchy.

Overall I am happy with the contents of this months box, good selection of products and brands and also good to see a number of offers included as well.    Although as always would love more makeup items included, however this is the same for the majority of beauty boxes at the moment.   I definitely  would recommend trying this box as good value for money and always exciting to see who next month’s  ‘influencer’ will be.

Would love to know if you are already subscribed to this box, what you thought of this months box?

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot and be v much appreciated.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend.

Thank you – take care.

My Little ‘Seashell’ Box – July 2017 Review

Hi Everyone

I only received the July 2017 My Little Box this week – later than normal but happy that I at least received it in July.   The theme for this month’s box is  ‘Seashell’- perfect theme for this time of year.  As always the Illustrated box, cards, packaging coordinated perfectly in line with the theme.     The box costs £14.95 (inclusive of p&p) per month (but as always check to see if any offers on first, if thinking of subscribing).

I love the design/colour of the box this month – reminds me of holiday time.  Always like the saying that is included on the inside of the outer cardboard packaging  as well.  I always remove and put on the underside of the lid (so easy to remove and reapply).

Included in this months box are:

 img_4897

‘My Little Box’ Summer Night Hanging Candle holder and two candles – unusual but that is one of the many things I like about this box finding different and useful items that I may never have seen or used before – states: ‘fancier than a flashlight but more convenient than a campfire these candle holders (plus moonlight) will help illuminate every one of your summer nights’.  When I use them may even post a separate review as intrigued;

‘My Little Box’ Sea, Nap & Sun Traveller Pouch Pillowlove that this was included already packed away to take with me on my holidays – handy inflatable beach pillow;

In the beautiful Blue and Cream seashell patterned ‘My Little Box’ drawstring pouch were the following three items:

My Little Beauty Body Scrub ‘Sandy Shore’ 210g (full size)  states ‘contains white Polynesian sand, sea salt crystals ,Tiare Flowers and Seaweed Oils to gently exfoliate skin’.  It smells divine and has a soft oily granule texture, feels grainy on the skin but does leave the skin feeling v soft with a beautiful light fragrance.  Looking forward to testing this for a longer period of time to see how good the results are;

Qiriness Wrap Radiant Eye Contour Mask 2 patches   – never heard of this brand before and as I hope to have a ‘pampering’ session on Sunday, now going to include these in it. States: smooths, boosts radiance, decongests, hydrates and soothes so if they do all this will be impressed.  Will post a separate review if one use is impressive;

img_4911

Institut Karite Paris Shea ‘Rose Mademoiselle’ Hand Cream 30ml    – never heard of this French brand before either and although like hand creams, use them regularly the strong rose fragrance is off-putting for me personally so this will be going to a friend who loves rose fragrances in skin care.  However I have to say it does feel good and leaves hands feeling soft, hydrated and not greasy so going to check what other fragrances they have;

 Two ‘My Little Box’ notelets and envelopes and a seashell sweet (the shell is plastic and although sweet tastes good ( v, v sweet though) v difficult to remove from shell).

img_4890

Although loved the theme and design of this month’s box / items and liked the items,  I feel there is something missing.  Maybe that is due to me expecting so much from this box now,  as have received so many ‘v good’ boxes in the past.   I think if another ‘accessory’ item had have been included and at least one makeup item I  would have been more excited/impressed.

As always would  still recommend checking out / subscribing to this box if you can as it still remains one of my favourite boxes.  I am just hoping next month’s box will be an even better one and at least one makeup item will be included as just so much skin & body care recently.

Any queries / comments please let me know, also if you received this months box would love to know what you thought of it?

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.  I will have more posts up over the weekend as well.

Thank you – take care and hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Latest in Beauty ‘Collections’ Box Sale

Hi Everyone

Although there are so many great beauty offers available online at the moment with ongoing sales / offers etc. I wanted to let you know about the current  Latest in Beauty Collections offer/sale which I recently could not resist (received my order today).

When I seen  that two of the ‘collection‘ box options ‘Harper’s Bazaar Beauty Box’ and  ‘Good Housekeeping Beauty Edit’  (photos below) contained one product in each that I had on my list to purchase, repurchase in one case, I decided to buy the boxes instead as far, far, better value this way.

You can see Latest in Beauty current one-off beauty box options via the link here – however note that although states up to 50% off there is only one box that is reduced to half price ‘The French Box’ .   However there are still another seven different beauty box options available at excellent value and with current sale discount as well makes it even better value.

Harper’s Bazaar Beauty Box worth £156 was £45 and now reduced to £28.

img_4954

The following nine items are included in the box:

  • Laura Mercier Foundation Primer – Radiance 15ml;
  • Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist 30ml;
  • Lancôme Hypnose Mascara 2ml;
  • Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask 100ml FULL SIZE;
  • Nailberry Oxygenated Nail Lacquer 15ml FULL SIZE – shades may vary – I received a nude shade ‘Au Naturel’;
  • Tan Luxe The Face Illuminating Drops in Light/Medium 30ml FULL SIZE;
  • Moroccanoil Treatment 25ml;
  • Oribe Dry Texturising Spray 37ml; and
  • Zelens 3T Complex Essential Anti-Ageing Cream 15ml.

img_4960-1

Although looking forward to using / trying all the products, the main reason I purchased the box was because I seen it contained a 30ml Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist a product I love and will be posting a separate review on over the next few days.  RRP price for the  limited edition 50ml of this product is £25 – 30ml can be difficult to get and this is the size I prefer carrying in my bag.  If you take RRP based on ml this would leave 30ml approximately £15 for this one product alone which means you are getting all the rest of the box for £13 what a brilliant saving, excellent value which I love.  Unfortunately one of my products ‘The Tan Luxe THE FACE Illuminating Drops’ had leaked – however from past customer service experience this should not be an issue and I should get this item replaced.

Good Housekeeping Beauty Edit worth £128 was £35 now reduced to £22.

img_4925-1

The following twelve products are included in the box:

  • Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment 30ml FULL SIZE;
  • Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara 4ml;
  • Ren Skincare V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream 15ml;
  • Olay Regenerist 3 Point Day Cream SPF30 7ml;
  • Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse 50ml;
  • Sanctuary Spa Ultimate Salt Scrub 60g;
  • Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum 10ml;
  • Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask 1 mask;
  • Nails Inc Nail Polish 14ml FULL SIZE – shades may vary – I received ‘St Swithians’, a pink/coral shade;
  • Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste 14ml;
  • James Read H20 Tan Mist 30ml; and
  • Urban Beauty United Powder Brush FULL SIZE.

A great box and main reason I purchased was seen that a full size of the Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment (30ml) RRP £53 was included.  So as well as getting the chance to try this product for less than half the recommended price you are also getting all the other products (see link here for full details of the rest of the items) for no extra charge so another excellent offer I could not resist.

I definitely would recommend checking out these boxes and the other options available while stocks last. The other boxes are good value as well and all the boxes would be perfect as beautiful pampering treats for yourself or as gifts as well.  Could also separate contents of box into a number of smaller gifts as well.

Latest in Beauty also have a monthly beauty subscription ‘Build Your Own Box’ which you can sign up to as well and is worth checking out – you can see my earlier post here for more details.   There are a mixture of full size and travel size beauty products you can select from.  As you would expect some products, especially full size items, sell out pretty quickly, however selection of products is updated / refreshed on a regular basis.

Hope you found this helpful and would love to hear your thoughts if you have, or are thinking of purchasing one of these boxes.

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Thank you – take care.

YOU Beauty Box – August Shortlist

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a good weekend.

YOU Beauty box  shortlist time again and the August theme is   ‘The Sumptuous Spa’ edit and selection as always will be available on the first of the month – 1st August 2017 from 7 am  – for details on how to subscribe / different plans which start from £6.95 please see my previous post here.

Aug17.png

As the edit name suggests the shortlist / products below you can choose from are either bath, body or skincare products with a duo pencil sharpener also among the selection:

  • L’Occitane Jasmin & Bergamote Shower Gel 30ml;
  • Roger & Gallet Sobert Dynamisant Gingembre Rouge & Fresh Fragrant Water Gingembre Rouge Duo 50ml & 1.5ml;
  • Aromatherapy Associates Renewing Rose Body Cream 40ml;
  • SenSpa Sleep Therapy Bath Soak 50ml;
  • Sanctuary Ultimate Cleansing Oil 50ml;
  • Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator 15ml;
  • Comfort Zone Sublime Skin Essence 5ml;
  • Kneipp Devil’s Claw Back Comfort 20ml;
  • The Vintage Cosmetic Company Duo Pencil Sharpener Full Size;
  • 111SKIN Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask 23ml;
  • Sancturary Ultimate Salt Scrub Sachet 60g.

Extra August Treat for all subscibers – philosophy purity made simple 3-in-1 cleanser 6ml

Gold members only will also receive a FREE 50ml Roger & Gallet Lait Sorbet with Orange Extract.

Unfortunately my dream of a full selection of makeup items to choose from has still to be realised, not even one makeup item included this month (though technically the sharpener is a makeup accessory).  Although there is one product within the selection that I am v happy to see included, the 111SKIN Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask 23ml  as I have tried this mask before and although think it is good the RRP OF £20 has put me off purchasing it by itself.  Once again box is excellent value when you take the price of the mask alone but initially finding it difficult to decide what other products I really would like as not overly excited about the rest of the selection.

As a YOU Beauty box  member you are entitled to choose between two to four samples from the YOU Beauty Box shortlist each month, depending on which price plan you are on – Gold Plan (four samples).

Photos below of what I chose/received in my July box.  Still to try most of the products but if you would like a separate review on any of the items please let me know.

Look forward to any comments you may have – love to know what you think of the August shortlist.   If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Hope you all have a good week.

Thank you  – take care.

Best Wishes Liz x

Glossybox UK – July 2017 Edit Review

Hi Everyone

img_4592-1

I received a few of my beauty boxes last week including the ‘Hello Summer’ edition July Glossybox.   As always although I  have not got a chance yet to try all the products properly, just wanted to let you know my first impressions.  Glossybox is a  monthly beauty subscription box which costs £10.00 (plus p&p) per month (usually offers on when you sign up for your first box – You can sign up through my referral link here  if you want (thank you in advance if you do) and currently you can get 50% off your first box when you subscribe and a free beauty treat as well – this current offer valid until 30.07.17 or while stocks last) and 3, 6 & 12 monthly subscriptions are also available.

Five personalised beauty products are included each month which are normally sent wrapped in pink tissue paper with a black bow in the signature pink Glossybox, however as this month was a ‘Hello Summer’ edit, box is a beautiful coral/orange colour with matching tissue paper- adore the colour scheme this month.

img_4593

img_4595

Bellapierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder – FULL Size 4g RRP £25 – I love a number of Bellapierre products already, especially their lipsticks and delighted this is a full size item as well.  I think this is a brand that may not be given enough credit for their products so looking forward to trying this finishing powder – initial thoughts are it does feel soft and velvety on the skin.  Will post a separate review if impressed with results;

img_4606

img_4607

Spectrum Collections Small Fan BrushFull Size £4.99 – Another full size item and my favourite item in the box as adore spectrum brushes.  Beautiful colour schemes and also very reasonably priced. All their brushes I have tried to date are great quality.  Delighted this particular brush was included as was intending to get a fan brush anyway as had none in my collection.   I know spectrum brushes have been included in a number of beauty boxes recently and another one to be included in next months Birchbox – please see my post here for more details – however I personally do not mind as great way to add to my brush collection;

Macaroon Tint Balm in Crushed BerryFULL Size RRP £5.99 – Another Full Size item, we are being spoiled this month.  Design very cute and does smell so good as well.  It is a great product to carry in your handbag as it is for cheeks and lips, so handy for holidays as well;

Birchbox UK-July 2017-First Impressions

Hi Everyone

I received my July Birchbox last Thursday and although have not got a chance yet to try products properly have tried them all at least once so wanted to give you my first impressions on each product and my thoughts on this month’s box.   This month’s theme is ‘Summer Daze’ – Love the design of the drawer style box, which also fits perfectly with this month’s theme, a few months ago subscribers were asked to choose from a number of designs and this design was chosen as the favourite.

Birchbox is a monthly subscription box which costs £12.95 (inclusive of p&p) per month and 3, 6 & 12 monthly subscriptions are also available.  Usually five personalised beauty treats are included each month, although this month we got six items.

This month every subscriber either received a Benefit Lip & Cheek Stain and a Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water – both sample size items, an information card, and four additional products  based on your profile.  There usually is also a product  / beauty information booklet however this month mine is missing.   The following six products were in my box:

Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water  (Sample Size 30ml) Full Size RRP £16.00 for 180ml I do like micellar cleansing waters especially Bioderma and thought this one sounded good but unfortunately when I opened it the fragrance put me off straight away but I did try it once to give it a chance and although it did remove my makeup, unfortunately I did not like the feel of my skin afterwards, felt it had been ‘stripped’ rather than being cleansed/refreshed, so unfortunately not a product for me personally;

img_4583

img_4584

Rituals ‘Ritual of Hammam’ Refreshing Foaming Shower Gel   Full ‘travel size’ 50ml RRP £4.50 – Used a number of products from this brand in the past and have tried other fragrances in their shower gels which I have enjoyed.   It has a gel consistency which when you rub turns into a cleansing foam and then when you apply water leaves your skin  clean, fragranced and soft.  This fragrance is not my favourite but will still use it and happy to see it included in my box;

img_4581

Nanette Lepore Fragrance Small Sample Vial 2ml Full Size £55 for 50 ml – as this is a sixth item, like a bonus item,  not as disappointed but I do not normally like beauty boxes including small fragrance samples as one of their ‘main’ items unless a good size / deluxe sample, particularly as fragrance is so personal.  This particular fragrance has a v strong overpowering scent so unfortunately just not for me but will pass to a friend to see if they like it any better.

img_4587

Overall though this months box is still good enough value and love the design of the box, a bit disappointed as personally will not be using two of the items.   However as I always say this is what beauty boxes are all about and if you love all the items that is an added bonus.  Although I have so many subscriptions at the moment I will still keep subscribed to Birchbox as it was one of my first subscriptions and although recently there have been more sample sizes included within their boxes still good value for money and also love the sneak peek of one of next months products (see photo below).

 *SPOILER* August Sneak Peek – states that everyone will receive a ‘Full Size Spectrum Collections Make-Up Brush’ in their August Birchbox – need to keep an eye on our in-boxes (if subscribed) to choose which oneSpectrum brushes have been in a number of beauty boxes recently which I do not mind as the quality is so good – this is another reason which will keep me subscribed for the August box.

If you are thinking of  subscribing to Birchbox UK – you can get £5 off your first box -(box is normally £10 +£2.95 shipping – you will get for £5 +£2.95 shipping) by clicking  link here and then copy and paste code at checkout to get your discount.    You can also receive a FREE Benefit mascara trio (*photo below) when you join Birchbox today to get your July box,  just add the code WINK at checkout to get free Trio.

Look forward to any comments you may have – if you have received this month’s box would love to know what you thought.

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Thank you – enjoy the rest of the weekend and take care.

Roccabox – July 2017 – First Impressions

Hi Everyone

The weekend is here again and with it my July Roccabox beauty box, which I received today.  Although I have not got a chance yet to try the products properly wanted to let you see what was is in it and my first impressions of the contents.

This month Roccabox have teamed up with The Sunday Girl   – love her site, you can check it out here.

Products come packaged  in an outer white box with rose gold lettering and an information card is also included (photo below – A single double-sided card, not a booklet type like last month).

This months box contained the following six items:

Soap & Glory Mini Rushower Dry Shampoo (50ml) – ‘Travel’ Full Size  RRP £2.50  (200ml is £4) – advises ‘touch release’ technology which means that when you ruffle your fingers through your hair there’ll be a friction-activated burst of mandarin rose and bergamot fragrance – not really a fan of dry shampoos as never found one yet that has left my hair feeling fresh enough that I am comfortable with leaving for a period of time before washes.  I wash my hair every day and have done for a long time, since I was a teenager, however this dry shampoo does smell fresh and fragrance does seem released more when you put your fingers through your hair after spraying.  I will try it properly and if impressed will do a separate review – nice handbag size. (Note: states international subscribers will get a mini hand food cream (50ml) also worth £2.50 instead);

Ellis Faas Concealer in S202 (2.8ml)  – Full Size RRP £22  – *STAR Product this month for me without a doubt.   Firstly have to talk about the silver tone unique packaging, adore it, has a brush applicator and you need to twist up the bottom a number of times for product to be released, creamy consistency and really looking forward to trying properly.  I will post a separate review if product actually lives up to the quality packaging – expect great things and hope I am not disappointed;

Magic Organic Apothecary (MOA) The Green Balm – V Small Sample Size  (15ml £6 and 50ml £15)- no size on packaging think maybe 5ml.  Have tried this product before and it is a multi taking healing balm which is quite good, this is a handy size for the makeup bag but would have been even better if at least the 15ml size had been included in the box;

Evolve Organic Beauty Radiant Glow Face Mask – V Small Sample Size  (30ml is £11) no size on packaging, think maybe a 3/5ml.    Has a lovely chocolate fragrance, a paste type consistency with slight granules in it but when you rub it onto your skin it turns to an oil type consistency which helps the granules to just the buff the skin, think I will enjoy using this product but because the sample size is so small, may only do one application, is not really enough to decide whether you want to purchase or not;

Balance Me Congested Skin Serum (7ml – Sample) – (Full Size is 15ml RRP £16) – decent size sample and good to carry in your makeup bag, in mine already, as states is an ‘on the spot’ soothing gel designed to diminish blemishes and calm inflammation without causing dryness or irritation; and

Burt’s Bee Cleansing Oil with Coconut & Argan Oils for Normal to Dry Skin (29.5ml) – (Full Size 177ml and RRP £16.99) – decent size sample and always useful to have travel size cleansing oils – have this sample size already, I got it in my Feelunique Pick N Mix sample collection but have not got round to trying yet.

Although I do like the variety of products that The Sunday Girl has selected, when I first opened this month’s box I was disappointed as looked so empty, four out of the five items were sample sizes and especially because the sample sizes of the Moa The Green Balm & Evolve face mask were so small.  However as I will use all of the items and  because  a full size Ellis Faas concealer was included (worth £22) I am content enough now with this months box.  Although I personally think it would have been better if five products had been included, instead of six, to ensure all four out of the five were decent sample sizes.   As usual, I keep saying this and fingers crossed one month it will happen, I am hoping more makeup items are included next month.   I still  would recommend trying this box as still good value for money.  Looking forward to see who the ‘influencer’ will be next month and hoping they will have more makeup items in their selection (hopefully samples not as small either).

Would love to know if you are already subscribed to this box, what you thought of this months box?

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot and be v much appreciated.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Thank you – take care.

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box-June 2017

Hi Everyone

As you know by now I love beauty boxes so when I kindly received the *June 2017 Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box at the weekend to review I was delighted, my first Skin Organics Clean Beauty box.

Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box is a new UK-based Organic and Natural Skincare  subscription box (launched in May 2017 – first box).   They state that: ‘each of their boxes contains a collection of travel and full size carefully chosen organic, natural, non-toxic and cruelty-free products that represent high standards of clean beauty. …..will discover skincare, body care,  amazing make up and beauty products’.

Skin Organics is a monthly subscription service and subscriptions start from approximately £19 (for a 6 month plan) plus £3.95 postage to the UK.  You can also try a One-Off box without committing to a subscription, only £21.00 + £3.95, one payment only – perfect for gifting (May and June box still available to purchase this way while stocks last).  For monthly subscription plans, the payment for your first box will be taken when you sign-up.  Subsequent payments will be taken on the 1st of the month. (For example if you sign up on 15th July, payment will be taken on the 15th July for your first box, 1st August for your second box and each month thereafter until you cancel).  You can access more details on the Skin Organic Beauty Box, subscription options via the link here.

Although I  have not got a chance yet to try all the products properly,  for a long enough period to enable me to do a full review, wanted to let you know my first impressions.

Products come in a white outer box with a black and white Skin Organics Clean Beauty Box label on the top with white protective tissue and shredded paper inside.

Maggie Anne 6 Free Gel Effect Nail Polish in ‘Grace’ (11ml) – Full Size  £10.50 –  always happy to see a nail polish included in boxes especially when it states they contain no nasty chemicals and are easy to apply and  remove.  Love this dark cerise colour, does apply so easily and although states polish will last 5-7 days with two coats of colour I applied one coat with a base and top coat and it covered v well not patchy, this is my second day of wear and no chips yet so fingers crossed as love the glossy gel effect finish – definitely will be checking out other colours in the range;

Once again initially not overly excited about the choice of products, mainly because only one makeup item included – would love a month where the majority of items are makeup items, I can dream – however when I took a further look at the products there are a few I have not tried before including the Skin Chemist Aqua Repair Serum (30ml) which when I checked is selling for £60 on their site at the moment (if it is the exact same product, seems to be) so not quite as disappointed with selection now, and as always still v good value for money.

As a YOU Beauty box  member you are entitled to choose between two to four samples from the YOU Beauty Box shortlist each month, depending on which price plan you are on – Gold Plan (four samples).

Photos below of what I chose/received in my June box – still to try most of the products, although have tried the Nails Inc Nail Polish and love it lovely reflective colour – if you would like a separate review on any of the items please let me know.

Look forward to any comments you may have – if you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Hope you all have a good weekend – will have more posts up over the weekend as well.

Thank you  – take care.

Best Wishes Liz x

Lookfantastic Beauty Box – ‘The Wanderlust Edition’ – June 2017

Hi Everyone

I received my June 2017 Lookfantastic beauty box last week  – it is a monthly subscription box which costs £15 per month (inc p&p) or from £11.25 for a 12 month subscription, you can see further details on how to subscribe here.

This month’s theme is ‘The Wanderlust Edition’ and  Lookfantastic advise that they are taking us with them on their beauty journey to discover the wonderful luxuries around us.

Loving the design of this month’s box, one of my favourites to date, also included is the usual glossy product  / beauty information booklet and the following six products (photos below)  and a copy of the June 2017 edition of the Elle Magazine:

states: helps to exfoliate, tone and brighten, alcohol free and can be used on face, neck and decollete – not tried these yet but think this is great idea and also perfect for travelling as no worries about spillage;

Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser – 20ml (sample size) £24 for 50ml;

States is a lightweight hydrating moisturiser designed to smooth, balance and soothe – will put in my drawer of moisturisers to try, however not overly excited about this item as although I have already tried a number of  Balance Me products  I have never loved any of their products enough (to date) to actually go out and purchase them although this may also  be due in part to having received so many of their products / duplicate items in beauty / limited edition boxes so there really was no need to purchase any;

Hailey Baldwin for Modelco Super Lips Lipgloss in ‘Biz’ (pink nude) 3ml– (sample size) – £18 for full size;

Can be used to refresh face or lightly fragrance body and states is also perfect to fix makeup – although this is the perfect product for this time of year,  it is not for me personally as just not fond of strong rose fragrances in skincare and this fragrance is just to strong for me so will be giving to a friend.

Love any comments you may have and what you thought of this month’s box and which beauty boxes you love reading reviews on.

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot.

Enjoy the rest of tonight and hope you all have a good week.

Thank you  – Take care.
