Review: Fenty Beauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner

Hi Everyone

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

If you have been following me for a while I am sure you will know by now that a black eyeliner is one of my must have makeup items, always has been.  So when I was in Australia last year and I purchased a number of items in Sephora (love that store) I accumulated enough beauty points with purchases to redeem them against a number of deluxe sample size beauty items, was v lucky that at the time a deluxe size Fenty flyliner eyeliner (full size RRP£17) was among the selection of beauty award items so I got two. Although loved the packaging, all Fenty beauty packaging is stunning, I still was not sure what to expect from this eyeliner as quality and staying power of different eyeliners can be so hit and miss.

Packaging:

Love the rose gold triangular packaging which sets it apart from other eyeliners and also makes it easier to hold when applying – ignore the scrapes that is what happens when you carry it in your makeup bag on a daily basis.

Application & Results

It has a precision felt tip which is so easy to apply, glides like a gel,  either as a fine line or  built up to a thicker line by pressing slightly heavier when applying – make sure to shake well before application.    I have had absolutely no irritation when wearing.  Good strong black colour which doesn’t take too long to dry, though recommend applying gently to start with as it is quite ‘wet’ so if you apply too much the line may not apply as straight as you want.  As I have said before although I am not a master of the ‘flick’ this eyeliner is perfect for it as well.  I have found this liner to be long-lasting, waterproof, does not budge, and I do not need to reapply as often either which is perfect.

Currently this is my favourite go to eyeliner and will be a definite ‘repurchase’.  As with most eyeliners you are recommended to store it tip down but as I carry it with me daily in my makeup bag not really practical but have not noticed any adverse effects because of this – though have stored my spare one the recommended way.

Although long wearing still easy to remove with a cotton pad & micellar water, my favourite is the Bioderma sensitive one but I then I always go on to cleanse my face with the L’Occitane Shea cleansing oil which also helps to remove any makeup residue left on the eye area.

You can currently purchase the Fenty Beauty eyeliner from Harvey Nichols – keep checking as well as sometimes there is a gift with purchase(s) on.

If you are not a follower would love you to subscribe / follow my blog too, would mean a lot.  More posts to follow soon.

Thank you, take care and hope you have a great week.

Best Wishes Liz x
