Review: NOTE Terracotta Blusher in ‘Oriental Pink’

Hi Everyone

Hope you all have had a good week so far.

I purchased a number of Note Beauty Cosmetics products recently and have been really impressed with one of the items already, the  Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher

A little bit about Note Cosmetics

Launched in 2014, NOTE Cosmetics was developed by a team of leading European chemists to provide a luxurious, wallet friendly experience for people around the world. Their mission is to embrace the art of beauty, inspired by the passion for living, the colours of life and the notes in nature.

Description

Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher is available in 4 colour options (1-4), 10gr/0.35 RRP £13.15 and comes in a black practical click closure compact with a v good built-in mirror.

I purchased the Blusher in No 3 Oriental Pink which I thought was a natural sunkissed look – however not really a ‘pink’ maybe better in a different shade as a ‘blush’ but more on that later.

Note Cosmetics Terracotta Blusher  is for all skin types, states both brightens and moisturizes thanks to its unique formula  and claims to give:

  • A youthful glow;
  • A more radiant appearance;
  • Macadamia Oil helps retain moisture and balance sebum levels;
  • Is infused with botanicals; and
  • Is paraben, cruelty free and vegan.

Product / Application / Results

As above the packaging is practical and sturdy which ensures the product is well protected which means it is great for travelling with as although a number of brands have gorgeous patterned ‘intricate’ packaging they are quite fragile when travelling.

Terracotta blusher is recommended for all skin types who like to have a luminous, healthy look on cheekbones and contain Macadamia oils which are said to help balance sebum and hydration levels.

You are advised that before applying the blush, lightly tap on a tissue to avoid intensive application and apply from the temple right in the middle of the cheek.

It is a pressed powder which comes in the shape of a slight dome, is v pigmented  and although does give a slight glow to the skin, it is more a gleam, which I prefer.  No strong aroma either which is great. Looks so beautiful on the skin as a blush but the colour I purchased gives more a healthy, natural bronze glow than a pinky blush so I apply a pink blush over it when going out but going to check out the other colours in the range v soon. However because of this I think this shade is perfect for contouring under the cheek bones and also as a transition / contour shades on the eyes, can also be worn over the eyelid as will. Whichever way I wear it I love it as so easy to apply, long-lasting, no irritation to the skin – perfect multi-purpose product.  If you prefer a completely matt blush this product may not be for you.

I am so impressed with this blush, quality great, love the formulation and you get so much product for your money, so reasonable and will last for ages.  I definitely would recommend trying this product for your self as although the packaging may not be very exciting  to look at initially, it is v sturdy, practical and main thing is product is amazing, however try to test all colours first if you can to see which is best for you.    There a number of stores stocking the Note beauty range and you can purchase at a number of stores online as well including Notebeauty.co.uk – currently 15% off offer when you sign up using your email, but as always if you do decide to purchase check around for best offer before you do.

If you have already tried would love to know what you think of it, do you like it as much as me?

If you are not already a follower would love you to follow my blog / me on instagram as well via link here – would mean a lot – intend to have more posts up prior to the end of this week, or beginning of next weekend.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Thank you and take care.

Best wishes Liz x
