I received my Feelunique’s Pick ‘N’ Mix selection today. It has been a while since my last selection but decided to get another one this month as had seen few things I already loved, wanted to try.
As advised before you can pick five ‘free’ samples from a selection of samples available while stocks last (one selection of samples per month) – you are charged £3.95 for shipping and handling fees although you can redeem this against any future order (excluding Pick ‘n’ Mix) via a £3.95 gift voucher you receive in your follow-up email.
I chose the following 5 items this time and overall I am happy with the samples I got below, listed in order of my preference (but as always would love more makeup samples to choose from):
the Balm Single Matt Eyeshadow out of the Palette Meet Matt(e) Trimony – I have used eyeshadows from the Balm before and like them, this one is no different it is a beautiful matt dark burgundy colour, great pigmentation and hopefully long-lasting. Love the magnetic closure packaging as well;
Isadora Multi Vitamin Gloss in 32 ‘Raspberry’ (2ml) – a multi vitamin antioxidant lip gloss – have got this one before in this colour and one in ‘Fruit Cocktail’ and love them both – they feel really comfortable on the lips and perfect size for the handbag;
St Tropez Gradual In Shower Tan (50ml) – Good size sample and have used this product before and although not my favourite product from the St Tropez range, still handy to have as a stand by/spare;
Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in 03 Natural (Sample Card) – this is down the list as was a bit disappointed initially with the size of this sample only because on the Feelunique site it is described as a sample pot – however there is still enough on the card to see if you like this bronzing powder or not – bit shimmery at the beginning but when you apply on your face not as noticeable;
Mane ‘n’ Tail Colour Protect Shampoo & Conditioner (10ml each) – the only sachet samples I selected this month – although I have never tried these before, I always find shampoo & conditioner samples v handy to take with you to the swimming pool, gym;
Happy with my selection this month, definitely will continue to use the Pick ‘n’ Mix as and when I see samples I want to try or already love. Remember the more generous sample sizes / make up samples go quickly but as long as you regularly look through the sample choice you should always see something you want to try. I also love that the service is not tied to a subscription.
I continue to highly recommend trying this service for yourself as a great way to try products for ‘free’ prior to purchasing especially if you make a future purchase through Feelunique to enable you to redeem your £3.95 gift voucher (the charge for shipping & handling fees) (if are new to Feelunique you can use my code here to get £10 off your first order with a £30 minimum spend – if you use it thank you in advance).
Look forward to any comments you may have – would love to hear if you have used the Pick ‘n’ Mix service already, what you thought of it?
If not already a follower would love you to follow my blog too – would mean a lot. I intend to have more posts up later, over the weekend.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Thank you – take care.
Best Wishes Liz x
