Magazine Freebies – October 2018

Last month was not a great month for magazine freebies, however there is at least one this month.   As always I will update post when or if there are any further magazine freebies throughout the month.

RED = £4.50 – FREE Nails Inc Nail Polish 10ml worth £11 with the magazine this month choice of 3 shades, a nude, a taupe and a red – ‘Victoria’ – I chose this colour as I had it before and do like it, although I have too much nail varnish.

Harper’s Bazaar= £4.70 – FREE Miller Harris Rose Silence Fragance,  10ml spray worth £13 – comes in lovely box and bottle is so cute as well.

Elle = £4.99  for it and a copy of Cosmopolitan  – a 25% River Island discount card with this months magazine in-store – I got this for my daughter as I received my Subscription copy and there was a 30% discount card with it.

Bath & Unwind Discovery Skincare Collection

Hi Everyone

Firstly sorry for being so quiet over the last few weeks but starting from today / next week will be back to posting on a regular basis every week.

So starting off with a short post to let you know about a lovely beauty offer from Bathandwind.com. Currently they have a Discovery Collection available, (while stocks last), containing products to showcase some of their most loved beauty products.  Costs £60 but worth over £200.

It is a good value and does contain a lovely selection of skincare brands items, great way to try different brands especially if you have been thinking of treating yourself anyway, also great to see a bag and travel wallet included as well.   From past experience similar collections do not last that long.

This is going to be another good month for magazine freebies.    As always I will update post when or if there are any further magazine freebies throughout the month.

RED = £4.50 – FREE Rodial Black Eyeliner and Lip Liner Set worth £36 with the magazine this month (love this, received a similar set before).  There also was / is a Vichy skincare sample sachet inside the magazine.

Although not showing a free gift with subscription this month, currently you can get 5 issues for only £5 – if this offer has finished by the time you read this, always usually an offer on so just keep checking online for more Free Gift with subscription offers.

Currently you are able to get a FREE deluxe mascara sample (choice of 3) to try when you take any old full size mascara, from any brand, to a benefit counter – you can choose between BAD gal BANG, They’re Real and Roller Lash samples, while stocks last.   I chose the BAD gal BANG sample as it is my favourite mascara out of these three.  You just need to pop your old mascara into the trade-in container (photo below) and then the sales assistant/consultant with give you your free sample (generous sample size – photo also below).

Review: Back to M∙A∙C ‘Recycle/Reward’ Program

Hi Everyone

Just in case you are not aware, wanted to let you know about the M∙A∙C Cosmetics Recycling / Reward ‘Back to M∙A∙C Program’, another ‘beauty’ recycle/reward scheme that I think is great.

So easy to be rewarded for recycling as all you need to do is return six empty M∙A∙C ‘full size’ primary containers to a M∙A∙C counter or M∙A∙C Cosmetics online and then you will receive a FREE M∙A∙C lipstick of your choice as a thank you.   You can find out more details about the recycle / reward scheme here or by asking in store.

As 100% of the selling price of VIVA GLAM Lipsticks and Lipglass is provided to organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS, these are excluded from their ‘recycle / rewards’ program.

 

I understand it may take a while to have six ’empties’ to return but it is still a great way to be rewarded for recycling especially if you purchase a lot of M∙A∙C products already. As I use my ‘hero’ M∙A∙C  eyeshadow in ‘Shroom’ as a base on top of my eye primer most days this helps, meant I recently had a another six empty containers to return / recycle in exchange for a FREE lipstick.  It was perfect timing as my favourite M∙A∙C  Cremesheen lipstick in ‘Hot Gossip‘ (RRP £17.50) was almost finished so I chose to get it as my FREE Lipstick.

I love this lipstick as it is the perfect ‘pink’ shade not too light or dark and as it is in the cremesheen formula so easy to apply and feels so good on the lips, need to reapply a number of times throughout the day but I do not mind this as love it so much.  I also have found that the M∙A∙C PatentPolish Lip Pencil in ‘Kittenish‘ (RRP £18) is the perfect partner as almost the same shade and just gives that extra sheen to the lips, it is beautiful on its own as well, so creamy and comfortable.
