Another great way to obtain ‘free’ samples / try products at the moment is through the Feelunique’s Pick ‘N’ Mix Service.

You can pick five ‘free’ samples from a selection of samples  available while stocks last – you are charged £3.95 for shipping and handling fees although you can redeem this against any future order  (excluding Pick ‘n’ Mix) via a £3.95 gift voucher you receive in your follow-up email.  Therefore although you initially have to pay for shipping & handling as this can be redeemed against future orders and as long as you do place a future order you really are getting your sample selection for ‘free’. 

However you can only access one Pick ‘N’ Mix selection per month and the £3.95 code you receive cannot be redeemed against the shipping and handling costs for future Pick ‘N’ Mix selection(s).

The Ultrasun range was developed in Switzerland and is described as delivering very high levels of protection against both UVA and UVB rays with just one application a day.  All of the Ultrasun products are water-resistant and will carry on protecting you even after repeated swimming, watersports and towel drying with absolutely no need to re-apply during the day – Once a Day.  I totally agree with their claims as my skin is very sensitive in the sun and I therefore  need to use very high factor sun protection as well as making sure I do not stay out in the sun at peak times or for prolonged periods.

I put on the gel / more a cream lotion at least half an hour before I am going out and I find that it does last all day but sometimes if I am in the water a lot / sun stronger than normal I do reapply on specific areas of skin for my own assurance – may not need to but just prefer to do this.    The Ultrasun product I purchased has a pump applicator, no strong fragrance and does not take long to sink into the skin, although states as non sticky I find the higher factors are slightly sticky until they sink in but that does not take long.  I would highly recommend the Ultrasun range for everyone especially those with sensitive skin  – Please see my earlier review on the Ultrasun Lipbalm here which I absolutely love too and cannot be without all year round.

Described as a moisturising lotion that hydrates and shields skin from UV rays with SPF 50 sunscreen hydrating with an anti-ageing formula that utilises triple action protection to safeguard skin from pollution, UV rays and visible signs of ageing. 

I have already tried my sample for two days and loving it already.   It has a light cream consistency, similar to colour of a tinted moisturiser.   I applied over my serum and moisturiser and it sank into my skin really quickly and although does not say it can act as a primer I found it was / is a good base for my makeup, also great for those makeup free days.  It really helps the look of your skin as well as protecting it.   Although pricey at £55 for 40 ml this product could be on my next shopping list if I continue to get good results over the next week but as always will be looking out for best offers available  and remember to do the same – love the look of this  offer already which is currently available at Elizabeth Arden online- when you purchase £60 or over  you will receive a free gift worth £115 which comes in a beautiful bag too – photo below of gift – see link here.

A quick post to let you know about three Body Shop free face masks offers, two currently available in-store (both of which I have already got) and one that will be available in-store through o2 priority from Monday 29th August 2016:

First one is through the The Body Shop facebook page / Claim Free Face Mask link,  Click Claim One  and enter your details and then you will receive an email voucher which you just need to show on your phone in The Body Shop store while stocks last, you can send link to three friends too.     You will receive three 5ml Masks – I am planning to try mine tomorrow and then do a quick review on them too.

Second one that is available with consultation while stocks last is The Body Shop My Happy Skin Samples pack – 7 personalised samples included one of which is another face mask – a week’s worth of samples  – I cannot find a link online but just ask in store while stocks last – I personally think this is a great way to try Body Shop products – so looking forward to trying these too.
